welcome aboard

the unofficial guide

Launched over 10 years ago and specialising at the time in P&O Ferries Portsmouth operation, the site has since grown substantially in both size and popularity each year and currently sees visitors from all around the world. The site is run totally independant of P&O Ferries, by a ferry enthusiast who has been interested in ships and shipping since the late 1980's and who travels on over 30 crossings each and every year.

Visited by enthusiasts, travellers, the media and the trade this site has grown and established itself as a leading resource for information about P&O Ferries, and operates with the backing of P&O Ferries whilst still retaining total independence, so despite the name 'the unofficial guide', the site is the closest to the offical guide as you can get. My thanks go out to all the crews and head office staff for their support and assistance.

I hope you enjoy your visit and find the information useful. Please feel free to bookmark the site for future reference.
