9th September 1986 Launched and named by HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.
2nd May 1987 Delivered to North Sea Ferries (P&O Group), Hull.
8th May 1987 Entered service between Hull and Rotterdam
December 2001 Taken out of service for major overhaul and upgrading at Lloyd-Werft, Bremerhaven, Germany.
March 2002 Entered service between Hull and Zeebrugge
14th April 2002 Suffered an engine room (forward) fire caused by thermal heating oil igniting during repairs.
2nd September 2002 Suffered an engine room (aft) fire whilst sailing from Hull to Zeebrugge.
9th September 2002 Resumed service following repairs.
22nd January 2003 Re-branded and renamed Pride of York

Pride of York

17th March 2014 Impacted the lock gate whilst passing through in King George Dock and suffered damage to the hull. Was forced to delay sailing whilst damage was checked and repaired.
